I have to admit, they did need quite a bit of cleaning up, but I do like the way they turned out! :)

Exhibition tomorrow!

I have to confess, I don't have a drawing for you today-but I have two freakin' awesome announcements, so I hope that counts as a good replacement :D
I've already hinted at the first, but now here's your official invitation!
So I'm taking part in a group exhibition at our school tomorrow! (For all you people in the area-Goetheschule, Ruschenstraße 1 in Essen, Germany, I would love for you all to come!)
We'll exhibiting some finished works and some live painting is going to be going on AND we're selling awesome christmas cards so it is definetely worth a visit! :D If you're not in the area or able to come-I'll remember my camera and will be posting photos! :D

and theeeen, I just found out today that I was chosen to exhibit my work in the 3rd annual European Jugendkunstausstellung, which is an exhibition held at the famous Zeche Zollverein here in Essen. It was a little mindblowing finding out today but I'm just so happy and honored and wwaaaah XD can't really believe it yet! So anyway, I love you lots and I can't wait for tomorrow! :)

The dome finishied piece!

The laaast piece is done! :D all pieces for the exhibition are dooone! :D Can't wait to show you guys how awesome they look next to eachother when they are hanging ;) Photos will come on Saturday! (if I don'T forget my camera again like last time :D)

Honestly I'm glad it's done. :) Now I can sleep :D

The dome

So the plan is in action-the outlines, are done, now just some finishing touches tomorrow on the shading and the last piece for the exhibition is doooone! :D (just in time XD )

THe thing at the top is my laptop by the way :D didn't realize it was in the picture until it was too late! :O

The dome pt 3

It's coming together! I can't believe it-I think it'll actually be done on Sat! :)
But I'm working two projects at the moment, very exciting one coming up later this week as well! :) Can't wait to share it with you guys! 

 

So the plan is-finishing the line work tomorrow and then shading the day after and then on Friday just some finishing touches! :D

The dome part 2

Worked on it during drawing class :D Thank goodness. Otherwise I would never be finished on Saturday!

Now I have like one window everyday and then I'm done on Thurs! Yaaay!

The dome

So third piece of the series is on the way :D It has to be done by saturday so I'm a tiiiny bit underpressure, but it'll work :D

I'm not actually, what dome this one is. I took the photograph I have it from on  one of the "bateau mouge" boattrips, and there were all kinds of cool buildings on to the left and to the rght so I knd of lost track XD

Mischievous Grin finished pieeece!

It is done. Finally. The work was getting a bit tedious in the last phases so I'm glad it is done.

I like how it turned out though. She is not the typical beauty facewise, but I still like her style and her hair ;)

  

Now there is only one more drawing to go for the exhibition on saturday! :) I can't wait!

Sometimes drawings have soundtracks..This one's is definetely Norah Jones XD

 

I really wonder what this will look like when it is done...:D It is clear that I still have to increase the contrasts quite a bit, carry on working on the hair and add the whole bottom bit, but maaaybe...just then maaaybe it will turn out the way I want it too :D

Apple Pinecone Still Life

Drawing Class today again :D
Still life is something I haven't done in a while (well since last week in drawing class actually XD) so here you go! ;)

It is a mix of aquarelle colors and colored pencil kind of things...I have to say, I'm not unsatisfied with the way it turned out ;)

New Years Ball Poster part 1

Working on two projects simultaniously is complicated :D
These both have to be done until the end of November, so it'll be a lot of drawing for me this month :D
This one's a crop of a soon to be poster-I hope it'll turn out well!

I'm not really happy with the roof and everything yet, but I'll think of something :D And I think, this time some color is definetely needed!

Sometimes you know you're going to like a picture, even if you've only drawn a gew lines. This is exactly the case with this one. In a way her head is tilted downward, which makes her seem rather shy, but then that mischievous smile make her seem really positive and cool :D

As you can see, she is still very ruff but don't worry-it'll come :D

Christmas Card numero 2-the reindeer

Nuuuumber 2 for you! :) This one is still quite simple... I wonder whether I should make it a little darker around the antlers...

 It was so weird, I was drawing the moose and then I suddenly realised-wrooong animal! reindeers are the christmas antler animals XD but then I decided the moose was cool too so I finished it anyway, and then of course I had to do a reindeer :D

The first christmas card this year! :D I decided I didn't want to be mainstream and do something reddisch/greenish soooo-ball point pen drawings of christmassy things (haven't quite figured out what things XD) they are going to be! :)

Birthday Card!

Just casually posting a birthday card I doodled for a friend a while back (just fyi-"Alles Gute" means something like "All the best" in German :D) while working on a concept for the next big drawing... I have to get cracking if I want to be done until the exhibition! :O

I like homemade cards, they are such an awesome casual way to show someone you care about them, have fun while making them and they make the most awesome assets to awesome presents! :)
